5150 is a fast-paced and exciting event series that consists of a 1.5k swim, 40k bike and a 10k run. For those who enjoy short and long-course racing, in addition to those weekend warriors eager to take on a triathlon, come compete with the elite.

The standard distance 5150 race is great as an introduction for first-time athletes but challenging enough for seasoned athletes. The race is also ideal as a stepping stone up to IRONMAN 70.3 giving athletes the opportunity to experience the flow of big event while becoming accustomed to the non-drafting nature of the race.

Bela Bela, in South Africa's Limpopo Province, is a true bushveld getaway.  Formerly known as "Warmbaths" the town is known for its natural thermal springs believed to have therapeutic benefits.  The bushveld resort setting makes this race the perfect triathlon weekend getaway. With its relaxed family atmosphere and close proximity to Johannesburg and Pretoria, this is the perfect race to enjoy top quality swim, bike, run topped off with a beer and a braai.

Showdown in the Aviation Showground - 24 Oct 2021

Hosted in the bustling aerotropolis of Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg and south east of Pretoria, this is a true city race with its proximity to one of South Africa's biggest triathlon hubs. The family friendly setting in Germiston Lake Park, lake swim, highway bike and contained run makes for great day out, while still in the city. Standard Distance and the shorter FUNTRI is on offer for athletes of all levels.

Africa's Wondrous Watersport Capital - 21 Nov 2021

Rooted in Africa's Home of IRONMAN, the 5150 Nelson Mandela Bay takes full advantage of some of the best Africa's Watersport Capital has to offer. Swim in part of the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship course, bike along the famous Marine Drive and run along the pristine Port Elizabeth beachfront for a fun-filled tri experience.
